Privacy Policy
Your data. Plain and simple.
Contact
FiveSwipe Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected via this site. We’re registered in England and Wales.
Any privacy questions — or to exercise your rights:
What we collect and why
Right now, the only information we hold is your email address — voluntarily given by you so we can let you know when FiveSwipe goes live — and your browser IP address so that we can estimate your country and city in order to prioritise United Kingdom users. Nothing else.
Your rights
UK data protection law requires a lawful basis for using your information. Ours is legitimate interest: you gave us your email specifically to hear about our launch, and that’s the only thing we use it for.
You have the right to:
Access — request a copy of what we hold about you.
Rectification — ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
Restriction — ask us to limit how we use it.
Object — tell us to stop processing your data.
Portability — ask us to transfer your data to you or another organisation.
Withdraw consent — if we ever rely on consent, you can withdraw it any time.
We’ll respond within one month. To make a request:
Where we get it
Directly from you — you typed it in and submitted it via this page.
How long we keep it
Until we’ve notified you of our launch, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. Want it gone sooner? Just ask.
Who we share it with
We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) as our email service provider. They securely manage our mailing list and send launch notifications on our behalf. No selling, no trading, no third-party marketing.
We use DB-IP (Eris Networks SAS) to estimate the country and city of your internet connection (IP Address) in order to prioritise our United Kingdom users. They only receive your IP address anonymously.
Sharing outside the UK
Brevo and DB-IP may process your data in France. They do so in full compliance with UK GDPR, using a UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal safeguard.
